They have many different names, but sometimes bacteria can get up into the urethral canal when you make love. Antibiotics are not a good treatment for everyday UTIs. Ingesting them kills the good bacteria in your gut, which attack the harmful bacteria in your urethra. Get on the D-Mannose if you're having recurrent issues. And always hydrate with electrolytes and pee after sex. Alkalizing your body with coffee and baking soda works even better and is healthier.
