Don't miss the "Come To Your Senses" technique for overcoming anxiety in this email! Whole Body Vibration, Infrared Saunas, Cryotherapy, LENS Neurofeedback, Forest Bathing and meditation pods like the Somadome and Theta Chamber are trendy approaches to wellness. I had the good fortune of attending a TED conference where I got to relax in a Somadome. And then I went to Dr. Robyn Benson's Amplified Regenerative Therapies at the Santa Fe Soul Center for Optimal Health and tried the Theta Chamber. THE SOMADOME AT TED Both of these technologies similarly envelop you and use light and sound to put you in a meditative state. This state calms and relaxes your body, allowing it to refresh itself. Here is a video showing my Theta Chamber experience. Suz's Theta Chamber Ride ⇐ Watch Now Infrared Saunas like the Sunlight aim to detox your system through sweating while using the light therapy of the far infrared to increase blood flow. And you know blood flow is crucial to good sexual health. Without it you can't get an erection. Yes, women need clitoral erections and engorgement for orgasming too. The more you can calm your central nervous system, the more resources you will have to get through the trials of life. Another technology called, LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System) also works on anxiety depression spectrum disorders, ADHD, traumatic brain injuries and other brain dysregulation issues. It's more of a clinical approach. Whole Body Vibration Systems like the Sonic Life units use sound vibration to stimulate your body at the cellular level. They say this jiggling helps with cellular renewal, muscle building and detoxing. I also have one of these units and get in it a few times a week. It's extremely relaxing and just feels great to my body. Cryotherapy, particularly beloved by athletes, is a technology that reduces inflammation (the scourge of a healthy body) by immersing yourself in liquid nitrogen below 100 degrees celsius for a few minutes. This is known as vasoconstriction - the constriction rather than the dilation of blood vessels. And if none of these technologies appeal to you, there is always Forest Bathing. Called shinrin-yoku by the Japanese, it's a mindful walk in the forest. Instead of being wrapped up in your thoughts, as you walk, open your senses to the present moment. One of the 3 instant hard-on techniques in our new "Get Hard Instantly On Command" ebook is called, "Coming To Your Senses." This exercise helps anyone of any gender get over sexual performance anxiety. It works the same way Forest Bathing does. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Take another deep breath and release any tension in your jaw. Take another deep breath and empty your face of all expression. Take one more deep breath and let go completely. You can do this lying down or you can do this as you are Forest Bathing. You can also do this in the heat of the moment during sex if you start to feel anxious. COME TO YOUR SENSES TECHNIQUE We are going to wake up all five of your senses, allowing in everything taking place in your environment and allowing your senses to give you pleasure. Start by listening to everything you're hearing. Take your time and allow all the sounds in your environment to come to you. You might hear birds, a breeze moving through in the trees, sounds of traffic, or the low hum of your refrigerator. Let each individual sound come to you. Become interested and curious. Allow your sense of hearing to be the source of pleasure it is. Now start to feel what you're feeling: your feet on the ground, your bum on the chair, the brush of your clothes against your skin, the tension in your shoulders, the temperature of the air. Let each sensation register on your sense of touch. Become interested and curious. Allow your sense of touch to be the source of pleasure it is. Now open your eyes and look at what you're seeing. Let your environment enter your eyes. The beauty of your lover's face or an interesting plant in the forest. Become curious and interested. Allow your sense of sight to be the source of pleasure it is. Now taste what you're tasting and smell what you're smelling, going through the same steps and allowing your senses of taste and smell to be the source of pleasure they are. Once you've enjoyed each sense individually, start to combine them and enjoy all five of your senses at the same time. Start by combining hearing and feeling, then layering in the other three one at a time. Don't worry about getting it right, the simple shift in focus will bring you more fully into your body. It's through our five senses that we experience pleasure. The more grounded we are our senses the more pleasure we can have. In the free book we have for you, we show you how to wire your five senses into your sexual pleasure circuits so that any time you're feeling anxious, you can let it go and bring yourself back to the pleasure of your senses. There are many ways to play with your senses, from vibration to color therapy, from neurofeedback to infrared light. You will be drawn to some of these above others because physiologically we are all different across a spectrum. What works for you might not work for your partner. There is no wrong. Just follow your heart, experiment, and make new trysts with life. Resonating With You, Susan P.S. Go watch this video about the Theta Chamber. P.P.S.
